Standard,  off-the-shelf  magnetostrictive  actuators  provide  an  efficient  way  to harness the power of Terfenol-D technology. The line offering of standard actuators provides an off-the-shelf solution to many customer requirements at a reasonable cost. While ETREMA engineers can custom design actuators for unique applications, it is oftentimes desirable to incorporate a proven actuator design into an application to take advantage of quick turnaround on orders at prices that are well below a custom design.
